VOTING INFORMATION
Reginald
Pugh wants all eligible citizens to become registered and active
voters. If you are a new arrival to our city, have not
registered or need assistance in becoming a registered voter, we
can help. Call 706-653-4392.
PRECINCTS
The State Senate 15 District has
33 precincts. Each voter is assigned a voting location based on
their home address. If you would like to become a Precinct
Captain to encourage your neighbors to Vote on July 15, 2008,
please call 706-642-1642. The Senate 15 District was changed in
2004. The precincts are: 01-Wynnton @ Wynnton United Methodist
Church, 02-Britt @ Wynnton United Methodist Church, 03-Carver,
04-Adahilia Mack Recreation Center, 05-St. John AME Church,
06-Britt David Elementary, 09-Northside Baptist (split with
Senate District 29), 12-Brewer, 13-Muscogee, 14-Spencer,
15-Eddy, 16-St. Mary’s Elementary, 17-Dawson, 18-Wesley
Heights, 19-Forrest Road, 20-Fort, 21-Rothschild, 24-Gentian,
25-Clubview, 31-North Lumpkin-30th Avenue Pre-school,
32-First African Baptist, 33-Hannan, 34-Fox, 35-Johnson,
36-Arnold, 37-Hardaway, 38-Columbus High, 39-Gallops, 40-Key,
41-Edgewood Baptist, 42-St. Mary’s United Methodist Church,
45-Liberty Baptist, and 47-Georgetown Elementary.

QUALIFICATIONS
To register
to vote you must:
- Be a
citizen of the United States
- Be a
legal resident of the County
- Be at
least 17 ½ years of age to register and 18 to vote
- Not be
serving a sentence for conviction of a felony involving
moral turpitude
- Have
not been found mentally incompetent by a judge
ABSENTEE VOTING
You may vote
by Absentee Ballot. No reason required if ballot is requested
