Greetings,
Thank you for
your interest in my being elected for State Senate District
15 seat. Election Day is coming soon (July 15, 2008) and it
is important for you to get involved and vote. As you
decide on the type of leadership you want for State Senate
District 15, I think it is important you think about the
leadership qualities of those who seek to lead you. You
deserve leadership with a demonstrated Caring Attitude,
Commitment, Competence, Consistency and
Integrity.
I am seeking
the position to give citizens a choice and the opportunity
to have someone representing them who cares and will listen,
put them first and is aware of community problems. I am
seeking to bring the ideas of a caring attitude, commitment,
competence, consistency and integrity. I have worked my
entire adult life helping those in need, e.g., youth,
elderly, disabled, retired, and disadvantaged/underserved
individuals. Every organization of which I have been a part
of improved significantly during my tenure.
When elected,
my focus will be keeping our families and neighborhoods
safe; develop a world class education system for our youth,
ensure all children and adults have access to healthcare,
increase economic development/job training opportunities for
all Georgians to receive decent wages and benefits and
support our troops at home and abroad.
When elected,
I promise to provide leadership with a demonstrated Caring
Attitude, Commitment, Competence, Consistency and
Integrity. I promise to always stay humble and to do all I
can to help the elderly, children, disabled and less
fortunate in our community. I promise to continue to keep
the faith, believe in people and in God. We have to trust
God. When we walk upright before the Lord, you have the
assurance that God is on your side, and He will never leave
you nor forsake you. If God is for you, who can be against
you? (Romans 8:31).
